INTRODUCTION TO 5G WIRELESS NETWORK:
Mobile wireless industry has started its technology creation, revolution and evolution since early
1970s. In the past few decades, mobile wireless technologies have experience 4 or 5 generations of technology
revolution and evolution, namely from 0G to 4G.
The cellular concept was introduced in 5G Technology stands for 5th Generation Mobile technology..
FEATURES OF 1G
1 g was introduced in 1981.
Mobile generations are typically assigned new frequency bands and wider Spectral bandwidth per frequency channel of 1g is up to 30 KHz
Its bandwidth/data transfer rate is 2kbps
It allows the voice call in one country
FEATURES OF 2G
2 g was introduced in 1991
Second generation mobile network was assigned per frequency band and wider spectral bandwidth per frequency channel / up to 200 KHz
Its bandwidth is 14 -64kbps
It enable text messages, picture messages and MMS
It provides better quality
FEATURES OF 3G
3g was introduces in 2001
Third generation mobile network was assigned per frequency band and wider spectral bandwidth per frequency channel / up to 5 MHz
Its bandwidth is 2mbps
It was typically introduced in smart phones
Easier communication
High speed web
More security
Vedio chat
Live tv
Able to transfer vedio files
FEATURES OF 4G
4G was introduced in 2012
Its bandwidth is 100mbps
Fourth generation mobile network was assigned per frequency band and wider spectral bandwidth per frequency channel / up to 200MHz
Combination of Wi-Fi and wi-max
High quality streaming videos and much more safer
DRAWBACKS OF NETWORKS
1G: Poor voice quality
Poor batter
Larger phone size
No security
2G: Weak signals
Unable to handle complex data
e.g videos.
3G: Expensive fee for 3G service
Expensive 3g phones
It was a challenge to build its infra structure
4G: Battery utilization is too much
It is very expensive
It only works on expensive equipment
FEATURES OF 5G
It is highly supportable to wwww (wireless world wide web).
5G will be introduced in 2020
It has 10 times more capacity than others
Multi media newspapers
Its bandwidth is up to 10GBps
ADVANTAGES OF 5G
Cheap rates than previous generation
Its more effective
Better coverage
More faster and more reliable
